Om Mani Padme Hum
“Om Mani Padme Hum” is a mantra, which is said to come from Amitabha Buddha. It is a very simple mantra yet very powerful that even reciting it one time, one can purify very heavy karma. It is a recommended mantra to create good merit and even when one does not have dharma, one can understand the very particular dharma with the help of reciting Om Mani Padme Hum. This mantra is also help in ensuring one do not reborn in a suffering realm.
  1. In all lifetimes, one will meet with virtuous kings. And one will have much opportunity to practice dharma.
  2. One will always be reborn in virtuous places, where there is a lot of dharma practice, temples and one can make a lot of offerings. This is so that one will have a lot opportunity to practice dharma and create a lot good merits and seeds of happiness.
  3. One will always meet with fortunate time and good conditions. Having many good things happen will inspire you to practice more.
  4. One will always meet with virtuous friends.
  5. One will always receive a perfect human body.
  6. One mind will become familiar with the path, with virtue.
  7. One will not allow one vow, morality to degenerate.
  8. People around you will be kind and harmonious with you.
  9. You will always have wealth, the means of living.
  10. You will always be protected and serve by others.
  11. Your wealth will not be stolen or taken away by others.
  12. Whatever you wish will succeed.
  13. You will always protected by virtuos naga and devas
  14. In all lifetimes, you will see Buddha and be able to hear the Dharma.
  15. By listening to the pure Dharma, you will be able to actualize the profound meaning.
This mantra has power o heal many diseases and to protect from any harms. It is said that by reciting this mantra, the ghost at that moment will not purposely create confusion. It is said that whoever saw or heard this mantra or Amitabha Buddha name, one will slowly start to be more kind or generous. The person in turn is likely to create more good merits and this will lead to a better fortune.
When one recite this mantra 1000 times every day, it is said that the person children will not reborn in lower realm up to 7th generation. When one recite 10 mala times off this mantra and then touch the sea or water, the water is blessed and everything that connect to this water is being blessed and liberate from samsara such as living beings in sea like fishes.
