Tuberculosis - 3. maintenance phase
So far in the author case, the tuberculosis treatment 6 month which has already started are going on quite smoothly. In the author situation, there was a eye checking procedure in which the nurse will drop some eye medicine onto the patient to do checking. This medicine effect will last for few hours (causing the light in surrounding extremely bright making it dangerous for driving). The solution? a good pair of black sunglasses (to protect the eye for that whole day and a good rest at home the entire day). so do not think of using televisyen, computer and even mobile phone for that entire day. According to the doctor this tuberculosis treatment can cause lose of eye sight color to some patients (however chances to happen are rare ).
As for the treatment, so far is good except in author situation, where the author always get shortage of pyrodoxine for a few days(until the next time the author get the medicine). It is a pretty hassle treatment as the author has to visit the hospital twice a month just for the medicine itself . Thanks to the a bunch of information from internet, the author manage to survive the shortage of pyrodoxine during that few days with a good cup of brown rice cereal drink. (it probably does not even reach the minimum requirement vitamin but at least better than nothing isn't it? ) , The shortage of pyrodoxine situation are probably due to author own karmic obstacle issue.
The treatment for author seem to be on progress and soon the author will enter the maintenance phase. even during this time, the doctor said the author has to eat medicine on time and complete the entire phase. Unlike other previous medicine treatment, skipping this treatment can make it even more difficult to cure , bringing the even more danger to the patient and others who may be infected in future (superbug reason) .
And during this time the tumeric powder seem to enter into author life by itself. It looks like a great potency during this treatment phase however tumeric powder cannot be overeaten because it will cause other problems such as the blood thinning situation . So if anyone are craving for tumeric food, the author advise to eat moderately (eating it alternatively). there are others vegetable and fruits that can be substitute for tumeric.
there is also a possibility that the tuberculosis can get activate again during the treatment phase. but for author, the doctor said so far the medicine seem responsive .
