Refrain from exalting capable men, so that the people will not compete. Refrain from valuing rare goods, so that the people shall not steal. Refrain from displaying anything arousing desire, so that the people’s heart will not be disturbed.

Refrain from exalting capable men so that the people will not compete. This is make for the purpose that people will not get jealous and competing in a way that use to hurt others. Refrain from valuing rare goods, so that the people shall not steal , This is when one item is prize more valuable than the others and being the only one in the world make people commit crime for things like that. Refrain from displaying anything arousing desire, so that the people heart will not be disturbed. This simply mean that do not put things that can arouse the human darker emotion side so that everyone heart will not be disturbed.

In these time, leaving valuable things around can disturb people heart. There had been a situation where there is a houseowner who was visited by people he know. One day, he found out the bottle which he use to collect money had reduce . After investigation, he found out that one of his colleague been secretly took some money out. When confronted, it was due to his colleague heart was disturbed , perhaps more to the fact of greed?

But I do wonder at times that if one can make valueable goods to become as common as grass or stone in this world, would it be much better since everyone can get it everywhere? What do you think?

There is a saying that one had a lot of wealth in this lifetimes is due to one had accumulated a lot of good merits in the past (or past life). This section is particularly cover for wealth related to financial. Most mantras gave more blessings than just giving in the form of money. I personally recommend one to follow the five precepts (abstain from taking one life, what is not given , sexual misconduct, false speech , intoxicating drinks and drugs which leads to carelessness) as sometimes one had difficulties in obtaining what one want as a result of something one did in the past (karma).
